Exploded Fairlead Assembly

This is what Henry is working on. There are two fairleads like this - one for each drum. Each fairlead has two pulley blocks which swivel about the vertical axis. Of course there's a guillotine in each fairlead and each one rolls back and forth in front of its drum on combination bearings. The combo bearings (grey) are special needle bearing rollers with a compound roller inside a larger on but set at right angles so no matter what forces are applied, the fairlead traverses smoothly. The rope is carefully guided through the guillotine with aluminum guide tubes (yellow)
